hey guys ! This is something I want to address and it's major. Listen up !! Yesterday I was at this party all dressed up with my girlfriends. We were walking down by the streets all happy and jolly just then a group of "AUNTIES" walked past. They were not literal aunties but boys who were judgy as hell hence the term. They were talking amongst themselves and we overheard that -"ab dekho, girls roam like this and we're blamed for getting attracted to them, they're asking for it". I was like if you're attracted be chivalrous and ask them out why commit sins dude....??? I was extremely disappointed, thought I was time traveling to 1900s. Have you guys ever faced this ???

yes!! but the sad thing is we can do anything about it. stupid people always stay stupid. we should ignore it and believe and hope that world will change. how that will work? when as the next generation we raise our bogs right.

Feminism: the belief that equality and empowerment for women should be embraced by all, breaking gender stereotypes and shaping a just, inclusive world. @Ramiya
I've noticed my close group of friends can get quite competitive with each other at times. They'll one-up each other's accomplishments, make snide remarks about jobs/appearances, and there's an underlying tension of trying to be the "best" friend. Is this typical competitive behavior that happens in female friendships or is this level of passive aggression a red flag?

Is it really tough as a single woman (separated, divorced, widowed, unmarried) in India? Can you share your experiences, both pleasant or unpleasant? @Zanzanil
Hey @Zanzanil My sister recently got divorced. Being an engineer she was treated like a slave, she tried to make it work for one whole year, you just can't believe what she went through… In spite of being intelligent, beautiful and well-educated, she was afraid to leave that hell just thinking of what people would think about her. Why is divorce still a taboo for women in India? Even though the husband physically abuses her, society expects women to adjust. Why?
I'm so tired of Indian men putting Russian women on a pedestal and claiming they are the "ideal wives." If Russian culture produces such perfect marriages, then why are the divorce rates there so high? As an Indian woman, it's frustrating to constantly hear we are inferior while data shows relationships fail everywhere. I wish men would open their eyes to reality instead of buying into these misogynistic stereotypes. @RC_Mayanka

My family keeps pressuring me to get married, but the thought of being with a man terrifies me. I'm not even sure how to tell them I like girls. Any tips for young queer women dealing with societal expectations in India?
